For complete protection, Fitted Briefs are specially designed to provide
superior bladder control protection and a comfortable fit. Refastenable tape
tabs make Fitted Briefs easy to put on - whether a person is
standing, sitting or lying down. |
 |
IMPORTANT TIPS
- If a soiled brief is being replaced, remove it and clean the groin and buttocks thoroughly.
- Dispose of soiled briefs in a sanitary manner. Do not flush.
- Wash hands after handling soiled briefs.
- Do not get powder, lotion or oil on tape tabs. These substances may cause the tabs not to
stick properly.
- Please, always seek professional advice from your physician or health care professional if you or
someone you care for is experiencing bladder control problems.
To Put Them On Lying Down

STEP 1 Unfold a fresh brief.
STEP 2 Identify the inside and outside of the product.
- The inside of a Fitted Brief (the side that is placed against
the skin) is a white absorbent layer.
- The outside has a moisture-proof outer cover with a wetness indicator.
STEP 3 Identify the front and back of the product.
- The back of the brief has six refastenable tapes-three on each side flap.
- The flaps on the front of the brief do not have tapes.
STEP 4 Move the person onto his or her side.
STEP 5 Position the back of the brief (the end with the tape tabs)
next to the person's buttocks with the flaps folded as shown.
Make sure the white absorbant layer is facing up, with the
back of the brief placed toward the head of the bed.
STEP 6 Unfold the flaps on the side of the brief farthest from the
person's body.
STEP 7 Gently roll the person over the brief, just far enough to unfold the other
back flaps.
STEP 8 Roll the person back onto the center of the brief--onto his or her back.
STEP 9 Bring the front of the brief up between the legs. The front and back edges of
the brief should be pulled to equal heights on the front and back of the waist line.
STEP 10 Adjust the brief to fit closely by pulling it snugly into the groin. Fasten the
tape tab onto the front flaps.
STEP 11 Adjust the brief for a close and comfortable fit.
- Be sure to move any folds of skin-especially on the inner thigh-to prevent leaking
and chafing.
- Adjust fit by repositioning tape tabs.
